Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Taslima in Mumbai
Taslima, a school janitor, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 1-weekend roof repair in Mumbai.

I'm a school janitor living in Mumbai. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $300, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Hang in there, Taslima. This could happen to any of us. I hope November is when things finally get easier. Love from Timișoara.
Wishing you the best. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Blessings.
Hope you get there. My neighbor in Iztapalapa donated after I showed her your page.
