Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Rowena in Angeles
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Angeles?

I'm a disabled veteran living in Angeles. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $620, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

take care, Rowena. Hope you get there. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.
Hang in there, Rowena. I hope things turn around soon. Blessings!
Hang in there, Rowena. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. My husband and I read this together.
