Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Paisley in Houston
The roof at Paisley's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a single mother of three living in Houston. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,300, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over three weekday mornings.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

good luck. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My husband and I read this together. Thinking of Houston
Rooting for you, Paisley. Hope this works out for you. Love from Makassar.
Rooting for you. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. All the best.
praying for you, Paisley. Looking forward to the next update.
Thinking of you, Paisley. Gave what I could, wish it was more. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. All the best.
