Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Neema in Kasarani
Could you spare one long weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Kasarani?

I'm a widowed grandmother living in Kasarani. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $600, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

Best of luck, Neema. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. God bless
praying for you, Neema. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
