Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Musa in Badagry
Could you spare a weekend to help repair a leaking roof in Badagry?
🇳🇬 Lagos, Nigeria203 views
I'm a school janitor living in Badagry. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $850, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Good luck, Musa. Hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings!
sending love. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Thinking of Badagry.
