Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Jean in Brest
Jean, a single mother of three, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Brest.

I'm a single mother of three living in Brest. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $2,450, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

Rooting for you. I hope things turn around soon. Love from Rome.
this could happen to any of us. Greetings from Syracuse.
sending good thoughts, Jean. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
Looking forward to the next update. My neighbor in Quezon City donated after I showed her your page
Wishing you the best, Jean. Shared this with my family. After 28 years in customer support I know how hard it is to ask for anything. God bless
Good luck, Jean. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
