Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Dewi in Bekasi
Dewi, a night-shift nurse, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Bekasi.

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Bekasi. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 2 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $820, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the shingles and underlay. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

Thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Love from Boston.
Thinking of you and your family, Dewi. Shared this with my family. I'm in logistics myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Take care
