Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Consuelo in Rosario
Consuelo, a disabled veteran, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in Rosario.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Rosario. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $1,000, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the roofing sheets and nails. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength, Consuelo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. My husband and I read this together. Greetings from Minneapolis.
Hope it all works out, Consuelo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier!
Sending strength, Consuelo. This could happen to any of us. Thinking of Rosario.
Sending good thoughts, Consuelo. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. It's not much but it's yours. God bless.
