Volunteers needed to fix a leaking roof for Anisur in Narayanganj
The roof at Anisur's home is failing; materials are donated and we need hands.

I'm a disabled veteran living in Narayanganj. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the living room is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $560, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for a small crew who can help over a weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Glad we found this place.

So sorry you're going through this, Anisur. Hope this works out for you. God bless
Sending good thoughts. Hope you get there. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Thinking of Narayanganj
keep going, Anisur. I hope things turn around soon
Rooting for you. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best
