San Fernando
Every year the Holiday Toy Drive brings together 481 neighbors in San Fernando. I help organize it with 9 other volunteers, and this year our numbers are down. We need people for registration, sorting donations and carrying boxes. Shifts are three hours long and you can pick the one that suits you. Food and drinks are provided for all volunteers. It's a fun day for all ages, and our goal is to keep it free. No experience is necessary - we'll brief everyone at the start of the day. If you can come with a friend, even better. Please say in the comments which shift works for you. Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

  • Thinking of you and your family, Ismael. This could happen to any of us. My colleague had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Thinking of San Fernando.
