Aiden, my husband, passed away on 27 August after a short illness. He was 43 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 11 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Aiden to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Leeds hospice.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,900
• Memorial gathering for the family: $160
• Funeral home services and casket: $2,340

It's all in the list in the story. cemetery plot and burial fees is the big one at $1,900, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Good question.
