Volcanic eruption in Jakarta Selatan: help the Riverside district rebuild
After the volcanic eruption, families in the Riverside district need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The volcanic eruption hit the Riverside district on 7 July. My home was one of 79 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Roofing sheets and timber: $240
• Clean water and purification supplies: $140
• Bedding, blankets and mattresses: $145
• Food parcels for displaced families: $250
• Tools and labor for repairs: $225
With deep gratitude,
Pandu

I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Greetings from Chattogram.
