I make my living with my school-run minibus. 6 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $300. Without the vehicle I earn nothing. I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask. I support my 1 children. Before the breakdown I worked nine hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working. I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here. All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal. Where the $300 goes: • Labor charges: $60 • Road tax and insurance renewal: $45 • transmission replacement (parts): $195 If you're reading this, thank you. - Vincent

    • Hope it all works out, Vincent. I hope things turn around soon. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.

      • Wishing you the best, Vincent. Hope you make a strong comeback. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Blessings.
