Vincent lives with an amputation below the knee. The occupational therapist at Boulogne-Billancourt General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a powered wheelchair. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $2,750. His current equipment is 11 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks. With the right equipment Vincent could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
