Vijay was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Nagpur Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Vijay is 52, worked as a bakery worker until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nagpur Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,200 goes: • Household costs while unable to work: $220 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $120 • Scans and lab work: $185 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $675 Glad we found this place.
