Víctor's a rare sarcoma treatment fund
Víctor is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇦🇷 Argentina1,583 views
Víctor was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in July. The oncology team at Mar del Plata Regional Medical Center has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Víctor is 44, worked as a bank teller until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mar del Plata Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $170
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,150
• Transport to Mar del Plata Regional Medical Center: $230
Thank you so much.
