Victor needs a prosthetic leg - help us make it happen
A prosthetic leg would give Victor independence - we are $400 away.
🇵🇭 Philippines718 views
Victor lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Makati Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 4 weeks.
With the right equipment Victor could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $400 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• prosthetic leg: $350
• Delivery and set-up: $15
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this. Shared this with my family. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it
Rooting for you, Lourdes. Wishing Victor a smooth procedure and a full recovery. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day.
So sorry you're going through this, Lourdes. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
Take care, Lourdes. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from Fort Worth.
