Veteran in need: Wunmi's next mission is stability
Wunmi served ten years in the infantry; $450 would cover a vocational welding course and tools.

I served ten years in the infantry and was discharged in 2025 with a back injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $450.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $450 goes:
• Essential household items: $50
• Transport to appointments: $55
• Housing deposit and first month: $345
Thanks for reading all this.

Thinking of you and your family, Wunmi. I hope things turn around soon. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Take care.
so sorry you're going through this, Wunmi. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
