Veteran in need: Victoria's next mission is stability
Victoria served eight years in the engineering corps; $3,400 would cover a trained service dog and handler course.

I served eight years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2025 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $3,400.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,200
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,650
• Transport to appointments: $200
• Essential household items: $350
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

Best of luck. It takes guts to ask. Well done. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out. Love from Vadodara.
Sending love. Hope this works out for you. My neighbor in Springfield donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
thinking of you, Victoria. Hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Love from New Delhi.
