Anushka served ten years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with hearing damage and PTSD. She has been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place. The plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote comes to $850. Anushka is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $850 goes: • Training provider fees: $370 • Housing deposit and first month: $320 • Transport to appointments: $80 • Essential household items: $80 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
