A medical corps veteran in Prayagraj needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with hearing damage and PTSD.
🇮🇳 Uttar Pradesh, India1,049 views
Alka served four years in the medical corps and was discharged in 2024 with hearing damage and PTSD. She has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $500.
Alka is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $500 goes:
• Training provider fees: $180
• Housing deposit and first month: $200
• Transport to appointments: $45
• Essential household items: $75
I hope life is good to you.

Good luck, Shivam. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Bristol.
Take care, Shivam. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Thinking of Prayagraj
