Veteran in need: Mohan's next mission is stability
After six years of service, Mohan is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

Varsha served six years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with a service-related knee injury. She has been waiting fourteen months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $700.
Varsha is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $700 goes:
• Training provider fees: $410
• Housing deposit and first month: $170
• Transport to appointments: $80
• Essential household items: $40
With deep gratitude,
Mohan
