Veteran in need: Micah's next mission is stability
An air force veteran in Pittsburgh needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with post-traumatic stress.

I served twelve years in the air force and was discharged in 2022 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $4,650.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,650 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,250
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,150
• Transport to appointments: $510
• Essential household items: $740
Thanks for reading all this.
