Veteran in need: Liam's next mission is stability
After twelve years of service, Liam is raising funds for a first month of rent and transport to job interviews.

I served twelve years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2025 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $5,200.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $5,200 goes:
• Training provider fees: $3,150
• Housing deposit and first month: $1,250
• Transport to appointments: $290
• Essential household items: $510
Thanks for reading all this.

Keep going, Liam. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Gliwice.
Hang in there, Liam. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of Bristol.
