Veteran in need: Ethan's next mission is stability
A marines veteran in Charlotte needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with chronic tinnitus.

I served four years in the marines and was discharged in 2023 with chronic tinnitus. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $4,950.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,950 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,950
• Housing deposit and first month: $2,050
• Transport to appointments: $560
• Essential household items: $390
Every share and every dollar helps.

Updates from Ethan
Good news. Because of your gifts ($1,533 in total) I made the first payment toward training provider fees. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
