Veteran in need: Bola's next mission is stability
Bola served six years in the army; $650 would cover a trained service dog and handler course.

I served six years in the army and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a trained service dog and handler course. The quote I have comes to $650.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.
Where the $650 goes:
• Training provider fees: $390
• Housing deposit and first month: $135
• Transport to appointments: $75
• Essential household items: $50
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Sending strength, Bola. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. It's not much but it's yours.
sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. After 10 years in accounting I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Greetings from Moscow.
Sending strength, Bola. Hope you get there.
