Veteran in need: Autumn's next mission is stability
After four years of service, Autumn is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

Ivy served four years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with a back injury. She has been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $4,250.
Ivy is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Training provider fees: $1,150
• Housing deposit and first month: $2,400
• Transport to appointments: $450
• Essential household items: $250
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
