An army veteran in Lagos needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with post-traumatic stress.

Usman served four years in the army and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. He has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $450.
Usman is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $450 goes:
• Training provider fees: $180
• Housing deposit and first month: $145
• Transport to appointments: $55
• Essential household items: $70
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
