I served eight years in the navy and was discharged in 2023 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $1,800.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly.

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. housing deposit and first month comes first ($840) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid.
