Vera's prostate cancer treatment fund
4 rounds of treatment are planned at the Kharkiv Oncology Institute; we are asking for help with the costs insurance does not cover.

Vera was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July. The oncology team at the Kharkiv Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Vera is 41, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kharkiv Oncology Institute 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,500
• Scans and lab work: $195
• Transport to the Kharkiv Oncology Institute: $240
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $165
• Household costs while unable to work: $200
