Nashik
For fifteen years I have run a phone repair counter in Nashik. In September, a break-in took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me. Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks. This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment. Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item. Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go. Where the $600 goes: • Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $370 • Working capital for the first month: $115 • Shop repairs and licensing: $115 Every share and every dollar helps. - Vani

  1. Wanted to say thank you properly. 55% funded and I made the first payment toward replacing a soldering station and testing tools.

  2. Good news. Because of your gifts ($282 in total) the first invoice got paid this week. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.

  3. Quick update: $297 raised so far (50%). the first invoice got paid this week. Receipts coming as soon as I have them.
