Eitan was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in March. The surgeon at Beersheba University Hospital recommended valve repair surgery, and He is scheduled for May. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,000, and after what the public health scheme will pay we're still $4,450 short.
my son has been in and out of Beersheba University Hospital since March. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without valve repair surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Eitan struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Eitan won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
