Valentina is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at Guarulhos Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a library assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,800. The registrar has said Valentina can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Valentina has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Valentina would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Valentina isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Guarulhos Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $1,800 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $750 • Final term tuition: $900 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $105 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Miguel
