Clear storm damage from Qasim's garden in Karachi
Garden rescue day in Karachi: bring gloves and a rake.
🇵🇰 Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan325 views
I'm 88 and I have lived in this house in Karachi for 29 years. After the storm in December, two large branches and a fallen fence have blocked the back door and the garden path. I can no longer manage them myself because of a heart condition.
The council has told me it will be eight weeks before they can send someone. I'd feel much safer if it were cleared sooner.
Help needed: two people with loppers and a wheelbarrow. I'll provide tea, sandwiches and the green waste bags. A few hours will do.
Thank you so much.

Hang in there, Qasim. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 13 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Wishing you the best. This could happen to any of us. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Çankaya.
Sending love. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. God bless!
Sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Karachi
