Valentina needs a lift to Medellín General Hospital - can you help one day a week?
Valentina needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Valentina has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to Medellín General Hospital alone. After a foot amputation, Valentina can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 3 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 10 km each way.
Valentina is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
- effort
- one weekly trip
- format
- In person in Medellín
- skills
- reliable car, clean driving record

Thinking of you. I work in healthcare and wanted you to know people are on your side. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it!
Sending strength, Eduardo. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't give up. All the best.

Thinking of you. Shared it with a few friends. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. God bless.
best of luck, Eduardo. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. All the best
I hope things turn around soon. I'm in engineering myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. God bless
So sorry you're going through this. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Greetings from Bogotá.
You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. After 21 years in teaching I know how hard it is to ask for anything. Blessings.
Best of luck. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Blessings.
