Uthai's final semester of a pharmacy diploma in Phuket

Uthai is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a pharmacy diploma at Phuket Community College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $800. The registrar has said Uthai can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Uthai has a 3.9 average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Uthai would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Uthai isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $800 goes: • Exam and lab fees: $55 • Outstanding tuition balance: $660 • Textbooks and materials: $85 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Busaba
