Utami needs a cochlear implant processor upgrade - help us make it happen
A cochlear implant processor upgrade would give Utami independence - we're $700 away.

Utami lives with profound hearing loss. The occupational therapist at the Bandung Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended a cochlear implant processor upgrade. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $700.
Her current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Utami could join the school sports day. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $700 goes:
• cochlear implant processor upgrade: $590
• Fitting and training sessions: $40
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $50
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Wishing you peace. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Adama.
Sending strength, Zulkifli. It takes guts to ask. Well done. All the best
So sorry you're going through this. Hope the doctors have good news. Thinking of Bandung
