Used laptop wanted: Scarlett is studying public health without a computer
Scarlett is studying public health on a phone; a used laptop would let Scarlett do assignments properly.

I'm Scarlett, a public health student in San Francisco. My laptop broke 4 months ago and I've since been writing assignments and sitting online exams on my phone - it's slow, my work gets lost, and I'm falling behind.
I'm looking for a used laptop with at least 8GB of RAM and a working battery, or any laptop that can run a browser and word processor reliably. I can cover shipping if you can send it, or collect in San Francisco.
I'll take great care of it and be sure to share how my studies go. If you want to upgrade your own and have an old one in a drawer, you could make a big difference.
Thanks for being kind about this.

Thinking of you and your family, Scarlett. I hope things turn around soon. Greetings from London.
take care, Scarlett. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Thinking of San Francisco
Thinking of you and your family, Scarlett. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Take care.
