Supporting Upendo through cervical cancer: medication, transport to Nairobi Cancer Centre, and living costs while She can't work.

Upendo was diagnosed with cervical cancer in April. The oncology team at Nairobi Cancer Centre has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Upendo is 28, worked as a bakery worker until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Nairobi Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,200 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $800
• Household costs while unable to work: $320
• Transport to Nairobi Cancer Centre: $80

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Upendo.
Sure. The biggest one is chemotherapy and medication not covered, $800. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Fair thing to want to know.
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Wish I lived closer to Coyoacán so I could bring a meal. Blessings
