Unity Primary School needs a skate park - Mitu's neighborhood project

We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a skate park - we need $450 for materials.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a skate park. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $450. It will serve about 230 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in August and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $450 goes: • Materials: $300 • Permits and inspections: $40 • Safety equipment and signage: $30 • Tools hire and delivery: $80 Thanks for being kind about this. - Mitu

Hope things get better soon. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
