Unity Primary School needs a playground - Mauricio's neighborhood project
Volunteers in Rosario are raising $500 for a playground at Unity Primary School.
🇦🇷 2008, Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina611 views
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 24 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 580 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in January and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $50
• Safety equipment and signage: $95
• Materials: $355
Thanks for reading all this.

Thank you all. We're at 48% now ($240). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward materials.
We're at 7% thanks to 2 of you. I met with the suppliers and confirmed the amounts. More news soon.

can I help in a way that isn't money? I'm near Rosario
Thank you. If you're in Rosario I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great.
Wishing you peace, Mauricio. Shared it with a few friends. After 10 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless
stay strong, Mauricio. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. God bless.
