Unity Primary School needs a community garden - Roberto's neighborhood project

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a community garden. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $1,550. It will serve about 453 people, including local farmers and market traders. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance. Where the $1,550 goes: • Permits and inspections: $90 • Safety equipment and signage: $350 • Materials: $1,110 Thank you so much.
