Unity Park needs a free library and reading room - Fionn's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a free library and reading room - we need $3,200 for materials.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a free library and reading room. This year a group of 19 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Unity Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,200.
It will serve about 250 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Materials: $2,150
• Permits and inspections: $350
• Safety equipment and signage: $420
• Tools hire and delivery: $280
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

you're not alone. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update. Thinking of Dublin
Wishing you the best, Fionn. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Saket this morning.
Sending strength, Fionn. Hope the build day goes well, wish I lived closer. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
