Union Primary School needs a playground - Yewande's neighborhood project
A community-led a playground at Union Primary School that will serve 327 neighbors.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 17 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $450.
It will serve about 327 people, including children, seniors and people with disabilities. We'll hold a build day in February and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $450 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $50
• Materials: $310
• Safety equipment and signage: $90
