Union Park needs a solar-powered water pump - Aline's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $700 for materials.
🇧🇷 Brazil804 views
For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Union Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $700.
It will serve about 220 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $700 goes:
• Materials: $400
• Permits and inspections: $105
• Safety equipment and signage: $135
• Tools hire and delivery: $60
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

keep going, Aline. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes.
Hope it all works out, Aline. This could happen to any of us. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. Love from Kyiv.
rooting for you, Aline. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Porto Alegre donated after I showed her your page.
