Umesh needs a cold-storage unit to reopen a small grocery stall
A small grocery stall in London needs help replacing a cold-storage unit after a fire in the building.

For twelve years I have run a small grocery stall in London. In March, a fire in the building took a cold-storage unit. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Friday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 3 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,200 goes:
• Replacing a cold-storage unit: $1,550
• Initial stock: fresh produce: $640
• Shop repairs and licensing: $510
• Working capital for the first month: $500
Glad we found this place.

The list at the bottom is the whole picture. replacing a cold-storage unit is the biggest at $1,550. Good question.
Thinking of you. Shared this with my family. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day. Love from Atlanta.
Hope this works out for you. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Blessings
Thinking of you and your family. Small businesses are the heart of London. Hope you're open again soon. Put this on a community board in Granada this morning.
