Uma's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Uma won a place at the Coimbatore Selective School but the family can't afford the uniform, books and laptop required.
🇮🇳 Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India1,816 views
Uma earned a place in Year 10 at the Coimbatore Selective School, and the family couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things She needs, including a laptop for the design and technology course, and a uniform.
The family has few resources; the list costs $100, which is more than they have.
Uma loves design and technology and wants to become a teacher. A laptop will allow coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
She will take care of everything given and works very hard.
I'll buy the items from the school's approved supplier and post photos of everything.
Where the $100 goes:
• School uniform and shoes: $40
• Laptop: $55
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Take care, Sudhakar. Your post was clear and honest. We're a small family in Campinas but we're thinking of you. Take care.
Hope it all works out, Sudhakar. It takes guts to ask. Well done
