Two weekends of roof repair for Varsha, a night-shift nurse in Udaipur
Could you spare two Saturdays to help repair a leaking roof in Udaipur?

I'm a night-shift nurse living in Udaipur. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $640, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the corrugated iron sheets and timber. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for anyone handy who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is sturdy shoes, gloves and a willingness to work. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
Thank you so much.

thanks for sharing this. Your post was clear and honest. Love from Arusha
Best of luck. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. God bless.
Rooting for you, Varsha. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Greetings from Lagos
