Two weekends of roof repair for Theodore, a single mother of three in San Francisco
Theodore, a single mother of three, needs a few skilled and unskilled helpers for a 2-weekend roof repair in San Francisco.

I'm a single mother of three living in San Francisco. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 4 places, and the kitchen is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $4,450, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for 4-6 people who can help over one long weekend.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is to be comfortable with heights or willing to help from the ground. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Thanks for sharing this, Theodore. Your post was clear and honest. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. All the best.
thinking of you, Theodore. Rent stress is the worst. Hope this helps. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
take care, Theodore. A secure home matters so much. Hope you're settled soon. Sent it to 13 people at work. Thinking of San Francisco.
sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to Warsaw so I could bring a meal. Blessings
You're not alone, Theodore. Shared it with a few friends. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Take care
