Two weekends of roof repair for Sharmila, a single mother of three in Hubballi
Could you spare two Saturdays to help repair a leaking roof in Hubballi?

I'm a single mother of three living in Hubballi. During the last storm water started coming through the ceiling in 3 places, and the bathroom is no longer usable. A roofer quoted $820, which isn't something I can pay.
The good news: a local hardware store has donated the tiles and battens. What I don't have is people to do the work. I'm looking for three or four volunteers who can help over two Saturdays.
Experience helps, but it isn't essential - I'll have a licensed roofer supervising for safety. All you need is work boots and a hat. I'll provide lunch, water and lots of thanks.
The work will be done on the ground and roof with proper harnesses. If you can only help for a few hours, that's welcome too.
I hope life is good to you.

Hope it all works out, Sharmila. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Put this on a community board in Üsküdar this morning. Thinking of Hubballi
Wishing you the best. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Thinking of Hubballi.
Hang in there, Sharmila. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Thinking of Hubballi!
it takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in Pune donated after I showed her your page. Greetings from Pune.
Good luck, Sharmila. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best.
